Financial leader Responsibilities: 
  • Provide managerial direction to the accounting and finance resources and worldwide operations. 
  • Ensure the business unit financial statements are in compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policy. 
  • Establish and maintain internal controls and procedures over financial reporting.
  • Support the strategic growth and business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on strategic planning initiatives. Drive financial due diligence for mergers and acquisition activities and divestitures.
  • Partner with the SBU President to identify and implement plans for operational efficiencies and growth initiatives.
  • Ensure validity of monthly and quarterly results.
  •  Serve as the point of contact for driving KPIs improvement.
  • Drive working capital initiatives across the business segment.
  • Manage staff oversight, development, coaching and recruiting. Span of supervisory control is 15+ professionals, so leadership scope is mandatory.
What do I need to qualify? 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance is required. MBA, CPA, CMA, or CIA is preferred.
  • Must have 10+ years of financial and operational experience of increasing responsibility.  Manufacturing background highly desired.
  • Excellent knowledge of US GAAP in a controls environment is required.
  • Strong project management, leadership and technical accounting skills are required.
  • Acquisition and financial modeling experience highly desirable.
